Jeremy Pollard was born in Christchurch, New Zealand which is where he was trained and started his career as a cameraman. At the age of 26 he moved to New York City where he quickly became an internationally acclaimed documentary cinematographer. His stills photography, for which he has always maintained a passion, has been highly praised, especially his portraits for their cinematic quality. He throws fresh light on usually unseen aspects of life. He left the States after 25 years and now lives in London with his wife and two children.
